Japanese Tea Ceremony

For my last day in Tokyo, I decided to revisit a few of my favorite places and really take my time walking the streets, getting lost and discovering hideaways…one of my favorite spots was the Harajuku District, filled with young energy, shopping, neon lights, pumping music and flavorful snacks. The streets were totally packed but for once in my life, I didn’t mind! It was all a part of the experience.

That afternoon I was fortunate enough to enjoy a traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony…would you guess this tea wasn’t the normal green tea? It was made from a powder, not a leaf…had a very distinctive taste!
