From London to Georgetown, Anna and Xavier’s Washington DC affair was as charming and fun as they come.
These two lovebirds met across the pond, the new-age way, via the Internet and had what friends call an “accelerated engagement wedding.” While a work visa was at stake to keep Anna in the UK, her “Zav “ stepped up to the plate. “In a way there’s nothing more romantic than your partner doing whatever needs to be done to ensure you can be together.”
But yet there’s just so much more to their love story…see Zav knew he had found the one over their very first date, the dessert course to be exact. Looking over at this lovely lady across the table, he wondered if he had met his match. It didn’t take Anna very long to realize what a “seriously amazing person” Zav is and how “incredibly lucky” she was that “the universe dropped him in her lap.”
To celebrate their love in grand fashion, this dashing couple who have lived all over the world, chose a destination in DC at a historic colonial home in Georgetown. Their formal wedding was the culmination of all their friends and family gathering in one place at one time to toast to their happiness. While they had a fashionable civil ceremony in the town hall in Islington, the area of London that they live, along with a champagne-driven vintage double-decker bus dropping off their 25 guests to a wedding brunch, this elegant and classic nuptial had just as much charisma.
As Anna explains, “About a month before the wedding I became totally enamoured with the idea of a bouncy castle.” And she’s glad she got it! “Some of the best photos came from us jumping around inside”
Congratulations to this adorable couple – may you share in many more fun-lovingly fabulous moments!
